Job summary

Stellantisfinancialservices is seeking an experienced Gasoline Engine Calibration Engineer to own one or more calibration functions from concept through launch. You will work with North American teams and global partners to deliver robust drivability and emissions-compliant calibrations for production engines and hybrids.

The role involves hands-on calibration development, data analysis, and collaboration across engineering areas to meet program timing and vehicle performance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or related engineering field.
• 5+ years of gasoline engine calibration experience on production vehicle programs.
• Experience owning production engine calibration functions from development to production release.
• Strong understanding of internal combustion engines, engine controls, and emissions systems.
• Experience with calibration/data analysis tools (INCA, ATI Vision, ETAS MDA) and regulatory knowledge (EPA/CARB).
• Ability to plan work independently, solve complex problems, and meet program objectives.

Responsibilities

• Own the development, validation, and production release of gasoline engine calibration functions and strategies.
• Develop calibration strategies delivering drivability and emissions compliance.
• Perform hands-on calibration development using prototype and production vehicles and environmental test locations.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and optimize calibration performance.
• Coordinate testing across engineering teams to meet program milestones and resolve issues.
• Present recommendations and status to engineering leadership.
• Travel domestically 4–8 weeks annually for development and validation activities.
