Job summary

GenSystems Power Solutions is seeking a Gas Turbine Services Engineer to provide engineering support across the complete repair and service lifecycle for aeroderivative gas turbines. You will work with service, manufacturing, quality, operations, and customers to ensure safe, efficient repairs that meet OEM specs and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional engineering experience with aeroderivative gas turbine engines (e.g., GE LM2500, GE LM6000, Siemens SGT-A05).
• Experience in MRO/repair/overhaul environments.
• Strong understanding of gas turbine fundamentals, turbomachinery, thermodynamics, and mechanical systems.
• Experience interpreting drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Experience with failure analysis and RCA methodologies.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop optimized work scopes for gas turbine engines removed from service.
• Lead the engineering process from teardown through final release.
• Develop detailed work instructions, inspection packages, and engineering specifications.
• Provide hands-on technical support to shop personnel during disassembly, inspection, and testing.
• Lead RCA investigations and identify corrective actions.
• Design, modify, and validate tooling and equipment for inspection and repair.
• Analyze test data to identify abnormal conditions and failure mechanisms.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.
