Job summary

Siemens Energy in Orlando is seeking an experienced Product Engineer to lead product structure and configuration management for the 5000F gas turbine fleet. You will approve engineering documentation and support new units and modernization projects to improve performance and reliability.

You will manage BOMs, engineering change processes, and data governance while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure successful implementation and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in product definition, configuration management, or design engineering in gas turbines, power gen, or aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain product structures, engine assemblies, and configuration baselines for 5000F gas turbine platform.
• Drive configuration control activities and support engineering change management.
• Serve as technical approver for engineering drawings, BOMs, and product data.
• Develop and maintain engine assembly models, layouts, and configurations for new units and modernization.
• Create and update detailed 2D/3D models and drawings for large components and assemblies.
• Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and project teams.
• Support design reviews and communicate technical, schedule, and cost impacts to stakeholders.
