Job summary

Siemens Energy in Orlando is seeking an experienced Engineer to own product structures and configuration baselines for the 5000F gas turbine platform. You will drive engineering change processes, approve drawings and BOMs, and support modernization programs to improve performance and reliability.

You will model engine assemblies, collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, and guide technical reviews while communicating impacts to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 8+ years in product definition, configuration, design engineering, or configuration management.
• Experience with product structures, BOMs, and engineering change management.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain product structures, engine assemblies, and configuration baselines for the 5000F turbine platform.
• Drive configuration control activities and support engineering change processes.
• Serve as the technical approver for drawings, BOMs, and data, ensuring design standard compliance.
• Develop engine assembly models, layouts, and configurations for new units and modernization.
• Create and update detailed 2D/3D models and drawings for large turbine components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Support design reviews and communicate schedule and cost impacts to stakeholders.
