Job summary

Siemens Energy in the United States, Florida, Orlando, seeks a Head of Product Engineering and Standards to lead engineering lifecycles, ensure documentation governance, and drive cross-functional alignment within the Aeroderivative Gas Turbines Core Development unit.

You will mentor engineers and technical writers, manage budgets, and shape PLM strategy while delivering compliant, high-quality products to customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles within the power generation or aerospace sectors.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or PMP or equivalent certification a plus.
• Proven experience in technical documentation management and product lifecycle systems.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and engineering integrity of core aeroderivative gas turbine products.
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and change management.
• Direct creation, maintenance, and governance of technical product documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with international standards, quality, safety, and customer specs.
• Provide strategic leadership, mentorship, and budget/resource planning for the team.
• Develop and execute engineering strategy through PLM and cross-functional collaboration.
