Job summary

Enbridge Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Gas Storage Engineer to lead engineering and integrity-management for underground natural gas storage assets. You will monitor wellbore and reservoir integrity, support safe operations, and drive risk-management improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, a minimum of six years in gas storage or related industries, and proficiency with GIS and related software. Travel ~15% and a hybrid work model are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Petroleum/Geological) or closely related field.
• Six years minimum experience in gas storage or related industries.
• Knowledge of gas storage operations, asset integrity, risk engineering and related standards.
• Understanding of reservoir storage engineering, testing, and field operations.
• Experience with state oil & gas regulations and management of contractors and service providers.
• Proficiency in GIS, mapping, log-analysis and other engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor storage-field wellbore and reservoir integrity, interpret operating data and identify capacity, performance or integrity concerns.
• Provide engineering support for safe operation, maintenance, and optimization of wells, reservoirs and related assets.
• Maintain and validate storage risk models and advance integrity risk-management processes and procedures.
• Prepare regulatory filings and reports; support audits and liaise with agencies, contractors and service providers.
• Plan and coordinate well testing, inspections, integrity assessments, repairs, upgrades and reservoir workovers with budgets and schedules.
• Support operations, capital projects and cross-functional collaboration; maintain engineering maps, logs and well files.
