Job summary

Enbridge in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Gas Storage Engineer to lead engineering and integrity-management for underground storage assets. You will monitor wellbore integrity, support safe operations, and provide technical guidance for storage wells and reservoirs.

Requirements include a petroleum/geological engineering degree and 6+ years in gas storage or related fields; strong knowledge of API standards, risk modelling, GIS, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Petroleum/Geological focus preferred.
• Minimum six years in gas storage or related industries.
• Knowledge of gas storage operations, asset integrity, risk engineering, risk modelling, API well-design standards, API RP 1171.
• Understanding reservoir storage, geology, field operations, and related equipment.
• Experience with state oil and gas regulations and managing contractors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor storage-field wellbore and reservoir integrity; interpret data for capacity and integrity concerns.
• Provide technical support for safe operation, maintenance, and optimization of wells and reservoirs.
• Maintain and validate storage risk models; advance risk-management processes and SOPs.
• Prepare federal/state regulatory filings; support audits and agency interactions.
• Plan well testing, inspections, integrity assessments, repairs, and reservoir workovers with budgets.
• Develop and support operations, maintenance and capital projects; collaborate across groups.
