Atmos Energy Corporation in Kentucky is seeking a Service Learner/Service Technician to support basic customer service tasks at the local utility. The role involves applying clearly prescribed procedures to assist customers with connections, disconnections, meters, and safety checks.

You will respond to service requests, install and operate Wireless Meter Reading equipment, and help ensure accurate records, regulatory compliance, and safe operation of company vehicles.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED as educational baseline.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Operator Qualifications (OQ) and on-the-job training may be completed.
• Data entry and basic record-keeping skills.

Mansioni

• Perform basic work using clearly prescribed procedures.
• Respond to customer service requests including connections and disconnections as operator qualified.
• Inform customers of needed repairs and ensure satisfaction with work.
• May disconnect service and pursue delinquent account collections.
• Install, program, and operate Wireless Meter Reading (WMR) equipment.
• Assist with safety and emergency response activities.
• Maintain accurate records and regulatory reports.
• May read meters and record usage for billing.
• May hold stand-by duty and work varying shifts, holidays, or weekends.
• Identify safety issues and participate in ensuring a safe working environment.
