Qualifications

• Educational/Experience Level: High school diploma or equivalent, and three years natural gas measurement, construction and maintenance and/or service field experience; or equivalent.

• Communication skills: Ability to communicate with internal/external customers to obtain/provide explanations and information.
• Numeric skills: Ability to perform complex calculations related to measurement principles and concepts.
• Computer skills: Advanced knowledge of software applications and multiple technologies to create documents, reports, or graphics.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic level functions to operate, maintain, test, and calibrate measurement and regulation facilities and systems.
• Responds to natural gas and other emergencies.
• Maintains accurate records and reports to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Inspects and maintains calibration and testing of meters and related equipment.
• Coordinates measurement tests with third parties to ensure accuracy and contract compliance.
• Monitors gas quality to ensure contract compliance and take action as needed.
