Job summary

Ideal candidates bring 4–7 years of experience, strong communication, and knowledge of gas tariffs and pipeline operations. Note: extended hours may be required during storms or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently or on a team with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel) and word processing (Word).
• 4–7 years of related experience in gas operations or finance is expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities; able to manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of gas tariffs and pipeline/storage operations.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile supplier invoices for natural gas purchases and related services.
• Prepare and track customer invoices for natural gas services and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external counterparties for variances and month-end close.
• Schedule daily gas quantities across pipelines, storage, and delivery points.
• Monitor gas flows, nominations, confirmations, and imbalance positions; resolve scheduling issues.
• Support budgeting, variance analysis, audit compliance, and reporting.
