Job summary

Pepco is seeking a multi-skilled analyst within the Gas Supply and Transportation team to manage invoicing, scheduling, and financial activities supporting the company's natural gas operations in the Baltimore area.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external counterparties, ensuring accurate billing, and assisting with planning and budgeting to support reliable service and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities with multi-project capacity.
• Knowledge of gas tariffs and pipeline/storage operations.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile incoming supplier invoices for natural gas purchases and related services.
• Prepare, issue, and track customer invoices for natural gas services and balance-related activities.
• Collaborate with accounting, gas supply, operations, and external parties for month-end close and variances.
• Schedule daily gas quantities across pipelines and storage to ensure reliable service and contractual compliance.
• Monitor gas flows, nominations, confirmations, and imbalance positions; coordinate with pipelines and schedulers to resolve issues.
