Spire Inc. in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Project Engineer III to manage gas pipeline and supply projects, including planning, budgeting, permitting, scheduling, and construction. The role requires coordinating contractors, safety, ROW, and regulatory adherence while driving project success.

The candidate should have 5+ years in pipeline or project management, a strong engineering background, and prefer PMP/PE licensure. Hybrid work options and travel are typical expectations at Spire.

Formación

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• PMP or PMI certifications preferred.
• Professional Engineering License preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs engineering analysis and develops metering & regulating designs for large-load end customers, transmission pipelines, LNG & storage.
• Designs metering and regulating facilities for large industrial and commercial customers; maintain relationships with Marketing.
• Supports design/maintenance of SCADA systems, process controls, facilities automation, remote communication technology, etc.
• Implements designs complying with national/local code requirements.
• Assists with project cost estimates through design, simulations, PFDs, equipment specs, sizing, P&ID development, and labor for RNG, LNG storage and pressure regulation projects.
• Manages capital and maintenance projects including financial planning, scheduling, equipment procurement, and contractor interfacing.
• Supports commissioning of new metering and regulation facilities.
