Spire is seeking a Construction Engineer to assist the Engineering Manager and Field Operations. You will design and estimate construction projects for replacement and new natural gas facilities, coordinating with GIS, environmental engineering, and other teams.

The role requires collaboration with municipalities, engineering firms, and internal departments to ensure project success, adherence to CFR Part 192, 193, and 195, and safe, compliant operations.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET accredited school required.
• Engineering in Training certificate preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Minimum 0-2 years' engineering experience in natural gas or similar industries

Responsabilidades

• Handles calls and correspondence from Construction and Maintenance foremen and other departments regarding job status.
• Coordinates with municipalities, engineering firms, developers for information to align facilities with proposed improvements.
• Prepares paperwork related to gas main and service work including utility agreements.
• Performs engineering designs and cost estimates using GIS for main and service work.
• Creates engineering specifications and designs for pipe installations, regulator stations and code compliance.
• Negotiates with engineering firms and municipalities to minimize impact of improvements.
• Attends site and pre-construction meetings to resolve issues with facilities and improvements

Formação académica
