Job summary

Avangrid is seeking a Senior Tech Support Specialist in Gas Engineering to develop CAD construction drawing packages, manage SAP work orders, and coordinate gas utility mapping. This role requires drafting accuracy for main installations, service lines, and regulator stations, with responsibility for leak survey maps and DigSafe prep.

Qualifications

Proficient in CAD drafting and SAP for work orders.
Experience with gas distribution project drafting and records.
Ability to train new engineering staff on standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

Develop CAD construction drawing packages for main installations and retirements.
Create main and service tables for each project in SAP.
Draft regulator stations and commercial meter sets using CAD and SAP.
Maintain gas utility maps and add land base to composite maps.
Log and organize project drawings (CAD and PDF) for records.
