Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead planning, design, and execution of electric or gas infrastructure projects. This role includes mentoring junior engineers, conducting complex studies, and ensuring safety, reliability and compliance.

You will manage budgets and schedules, coordinate across teams, perform field inspections, and tackle high-impact technical challenges. Extended hours may be required during storms or energy delivery emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or PE license required; advanced degree beneficial.
• 7+ years of professional engineering experience with leading complex projects.
• PE license or progress toward PE; willingness to lead and mentor others.
• Strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering assignments requiring advanced expertise across multiple areas.
• Manage complex projects with field testing, troubleshooting and reviews.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies for reliability and safety.
• Oversee budgets, schedules and resource allocation for major programs.
• Provide technical training and mentorship to other engineers.
