Job summary
Exelon is seeking a Senior Engineer to provide technical leadership in planning, design, and execution of utility infrastructure projects across electric, gas distribution, transmission, and substations. Mentors junior engineers, leads complex studies, and ensures safety and reliability alignment.
Responsibilities include developing engineering strategies, managing budgets and schedules, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects, often requiring extended hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and/or mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering tasks and projects with significant technical complexity.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on projects.
- Develop and implement strategies for grid modernization and reliability.
