Job summary

Atmos Energy Corporation is seeking a project design and engineering professional to prepare and manage designs, estimates, and scope for natural gas distribution facilities. You will evaluate facility conditions and coordinate with sponsors and third parties to ensure timely, safe expansion within budget.

The role involves on-site field work and communication with customers and internal teams, ensuring safety in design and project execution.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to communicate with internal and external customers on technical concepts.
• Ability to perform algebraic, trigonometric and geometric operations and moderately complex statistics.
• Working knowledge of various software applications to create documents, reports and graphical design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project designs and estimates; manage prepared projects to expand facilities safely and timely.
• Develop conceptual designs and cost estimates for capital, O&M, marketing and reimbursable projects; secure approvals.
• Evaluate facility condition to ensure quality design, construction and operation of gas systems within budget.
