Job summary

Atmos Energy Corporation is seeking a project management professional for diverse design and execution tasks in the gas distribution sector. The role focuses on preparing designs, estimates, and project scopes for capital and operational projects, while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The candidate will evaluate facilities, coordinate with stakeholders, and maintain project records and budgets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2 years' experience in project management, natural gas, utility and/or related fields, or equivalent education/experience.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Associate's degree in engineering, science, business or related field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Proficient with software to create documents, reports and graphical designs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project designs and estimates; manage projects ensuring safe, economical, timely expansion of gas distribution facilities.
• Develop conceptual designs, cost estimates and project scope for capital, O&M, marketing and reimbursable projects; secure approvals.
• Evaluate facility conditions to ensure quality design, construction and operation within budget.
