Atmos Energy Corporation in the United States is seeking an experienced project engineer/manager to design, estimate, and manage natural gas distribution projects. You will develop conceptual designs and cost estimates for capital, O&M, and other projects, coordinate rights-of-way and permits, and ensure safe, compliant operation across facilities.

Competenze

• High school diploma and 2 years' experience in project management, natural gas, utility or related fields.
• Valid driver's license.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to customers and teams.
• Ability to perform algebraic, trigonometric and geometric operations; basic statistics.
• Working knowledge of software applications to create documents and reports.
• Role is in indoor/outdoor environments; occasional lifting and physical activity.
• Safety-sensitive position; pre/post-employment screenings (DOT/PHMSA) and MVR checks required.

• Prepare project designs and estimates and manage prepared projects.
• Develop conceptual designs, cost estimates and project scope for various projects; obtain approvals.
• Evaluate facility conditions to ensure safe, economical design and operation.
• Close projects and post regulatory records, drawings, and financial data accurately.
• Perform analysis and design for transmission/distribution facilities and related systems.
• Review designs by outside firms for contract compliance.
• Coordinate right-of-way, permits, and budget/schedule constraints.
• Track construction progress and maintain post-construction documentation.
• Communicate with customers and teams to meet expectations.
• Integrate safety into design, operation and management of facilities.
• Manage assigned projects and ensure reliable outputs.
• Coordinate on-site activities and present to management.
