Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electronics or technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 3+ years of related, progressive gas control experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to analyze data and make independent decisions under changing conditions.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and word processing, with emphasis on SCADA.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to train others in gas control functions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the pipeline system to meet daily gas flow requirements.
• Use SCADA to monitor pressures, temperatures, volumes and gas quality and adjust equipment for safe operations.
• Coordinate maintenance and outages with field operations and nominations personnel.
• Communicate with customers, interconnecting pipelines, and management regarding volumes and pressures.
• Provide data analyses and reports to management and marketing services for capacity planning.
• Assist with emergency response planning and reporting as needed.
