Job summary

Nisqually Indian Tribe is seeking a Senior Licensing Certification Specialist to oversee Class II and III gaming license processes, renewals, and investigations. You will lead licensing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage staff in a tribal gaming environment.

The role requires strong communication, analytical abilities, and experience with background investigations, audits, and licensing determinations within the Tribal-State Compact and IGRA framework.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Five (5) years of relevant gaming regulatory experience.
• Supervisory or lead experience in regulatory/compliance environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and regulatory/database systems.
• Must pass background check and obtain Tribal Gaming Agency license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing of Class II/III Gaming License applications and renewals.
• Coordinate background investigations and licensing determinations for applicants, employees, and vendors.
• Lead licensing operations, quality assurance reviews, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to Licensing Certification Specialists.
• Maintain licensing records, reports, and breakdowns for regulatory reviews.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies, law enforcement, and internal stakeholders.
