Job summary

The Senior Licensing Certification Specialist at Nisqually Indian Tribe oversees the processing of Class II and Class III gaming license applications, renewals, and investigations, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate recordkeeping across licensing workflows.

Reporting to Agency leadership, this role provides guidance to Licensing Certification Specialists, conducts quality assurance, and coordinates with the Washington State Gaming Commission and other regulators to maintain licensing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years in a gaming regulatory environment or equivalent.
• Experience supervising licensing or compliance staff.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and background investigations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates complex background investigations and licensing determinations.
• Ensures compliance with tribal, state, and federal regulations and internal controls.
• Leads staffing, training, and quality assurance for Licensing Certification Specialists.
• Coordinates with regulators and internal departments on licensing processes.
