Job summary

Escape Velocity Entertainment Inc. is seeking a Senior Gameplay Designer to craft and implement multiplayer mechanics across our projects. You will collaborate with designers, artists, animators, and engineers to document features and translate them into functional engine code using visual scripting.

You will refine gameplay through playtests and live data, ensuring balance and competitive depth. A strong background in scripting, vector math, and UE5 is required for this fully remote role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working on a multiplayer and/or live service game.
• At least one shipped AAA title.
• Expert knowledge of game scripting and Unreal Engine (UE5 preferred).
• Vector math skills.
• A passion for competitive gaming with professional understanding of current multiplayer action games.
• Strong creative and technical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee multiplayer match mechanics and features.
