Job summary

Insomniac Games is seeking a Senior Gameplay Animator for a 12-month contract through Yoh Enterprise Solutions in Beaverton, Oregon. The role focuses on creating gameplay animations at the highest quality under the direction of Lead Animators and Animation Directors.

You will collaborate with Designers and Programmers to implement animations in the engine using Maya and Insomniac proprietary tools, with independent work requiring minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience creating gameplay animation at high quality and in line with artistic direction.
• Ability to implement animations in engine using Maya and proprietary tools.
• Familiar with motion capture workflows and hand key animation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality animations for gameplay characters aligned with artistic direction and technical standards.
• Collaborate with Designers and Programmers to implement animations in engine.
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve animation issues.
• Utilize motion capture data and keyframe animation to create believable characters.
• Contribute to hero traversal, combat, boss, camera cinematography, and open-world animation at a high level.
• Work with the Animation team to ensure cohesive execution of animation direction across the game.
