Job summary

Insomniac Games in the United States is seeking a Senior Gameplay Animator to create gameplay animation at the highest quality level set by Lead Animators and Animation Directors. You will collaborate with designers and programmers to implement animations in engine using Maya and proprietary engine tools.

This 12-month contract role, staffed through Yoh Enterprise Solutions, requires independent work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in gameplay animation for high-quality characters.
• Proficiency in Maya and engine tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with motion capture data.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality gameplay animations for characters.
• Integrate animations in engine with design/engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot issues and iterate on feedback.
• Work with motion capture and hand key animation for believability.
• Collaborate across disciplines to realize animation directions.
• Support open-world and combat animation sequences.
