Job summary

Zwift is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Game Systems, to own core engine features and ensure a smooth, scalable experience across iOS, Windows, Android, Mac, and Apple TV. You’ll optimize graphics pipelines and subsystem performance while collaborating with designers, backend engineers, and product teams.

You’ll work in a remote-friendly US cadre, shaping architecture, writing high-quality C++ code, and delivering maintainable systems with strong instrumentation, testing, and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of engineering experience with 2+ years in game graphics/engine development.
• Strong C++ development expertise with high-performance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement game engine features and systems in C++ for all Zwift platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Perform in-depth performance analysis, profiling, and optimization across platforms.
• Build tools and frameworks to improve development workflows.
• Debug and resolve issues across devices and platforms to improve reliability.
• Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, and planning.
• Ensure code quality through automated testing and CI/CD practices.
