Job summary

Light & Wonder is seeking a senior game audio professional to bring slot games to life with music, sound effects, and voice recordings. You will collaborate with artists, engineers, and designers in a fast-paced team to deliver high-quality audio for casino games.

The role requires 10+ years in digital audio, strong DAW skills (Pro Tools/Logic), and familiarity with audio middleware. Prior gaming experience is a plus, and proficiency in multiple audio styles is valued.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in MIDI sequencing and digital audio
• Experience recording and editing voiceovers and sound effects
• Familiarity with FMOD Studio or other interactive audio middleware is a plus
• Gaming industry experience is preferred, but not required
• Ability to play an instrument and read/write musical notation is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Compose, produce, and mix music for land-based slot games.
• Create custom sound effects using DAWs and SFX libraries.
• Record and edit Foley sounds, voiceovers, or instruments.
• Balance final game sounds in cabinet for field use.
• Archive final files using version control.
• Assemble game audio assets for third-party and online use.
