Job summary

KBR seeks a Corporate G&A and Balance Sheet Accounting Manager to lead the accounting and reporting for corporate G&A expenses, lease accounting under ASC 842, and risk management programs. The role partners with planning and corporate teams to ensure accurate budgets, forecasts, and disclosures.

You will own balance sheet accounts, supervise staff, drive month-end close, and support internal/external audits. A CPA or advanced degree is preferred and deep knowledge of ERP systems is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience with large corporations or auditing a large corporation (9+ years).
• 3+ years leading teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Manage accounting and reporting for corporate G&A expenses, lease accounting, and risk management.
• Own balance sheet accounts; investigate reconciling items and improve governance.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit and external auditors; ensure SOX controls.
• Develop and mentor staff; implement new procedures and training.
