Job summary

Grid Dynamics/JUXT partners with a Tier 1 investment bank to design and build the FX Risk Platform's end-of-day Official Valuation capabilities, supporting Asia FX trading desks. The role focuses on Java and Kotlin on Apache Flink, delivering from requirements to release, embedded with bank engineers who own the EOD module.

You will re-engineer trading and post-trade systems into scalable, event-driven services while modernising legacy components.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Java with Kotlin experience on enterprise-grade systems

Responsibilities

• Re-engineer core trading and post-trade systems into event-driven, cloud-native JVM services
• Modernise legacy components while ensuring platform stability
• Build data and market-expansion platforms supporting cross-margining and credit financing
• Design for event-driven systems with failure handling, ordering, replay semantics and data integrity
• Practice TDD with local-first testing and containerised dependencies
• Deliver iteratively with trunk-based development, CI/CD and frequent production releases
• Engage business stakeholders and upstream/downstream teams to build domain knowledge
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate analysis, testing, prototyping and refactoring
