At Home Group Inc. seeks a Design Manager (Furniture & Patio) to lead design and development of compelling merchandise aligned with brand concepts and category strategies. You will collaborate with Buyers and the Brand Concept Team to shape color, silhouette, materials, and prints each season, reporting to the Design Director.

The role requires strong design expertise, cross-functional leadership, and travel for trade shows. Work location is Home Office in Coppell, TX with hybrid schedule.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of Product Design or Product Development experience.
• Furniture & Patio design/development experience required.
• Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong eye for color, pattern, and craftsmanship.
• Excellent presentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide clear item directives to the merchant team for assigned product responsibilities.
• Partner with Brand Concept Team to understand and execute Concept vision, including color, silhouette, materiality, print & pattern each season.
• Communicate with and leverage external design resources and contractors.
• Identify product opportunities informed by Concept Team, trade shows, market research and consumer insight.
• Manage assigned category calendar and timeline deliverables.
• Partner with Sourcing and Merchant team to execute assigned category development.
• Partner with At Home product partners to influence and leverage their design capabilities, and ensure directives are interpreted and executed appropriately.
• Travel as required, i.e. Trade Shows/Markets, Development and Style Out trips.
