Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Designer to develop concepts through final production for outdoor and upholstery hardware lines. You will work closely with the Furniture team and design leadership to translate market trends into practical, retail-ready designs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with global vendors, attention to manufacturability, and timely delivery within quarterly launches. Strong proficiency with Rhino, Keyshot, and Adobe Creative Cloud is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years product design experience with a focus in Hardware for home retailers.
• Proven track record of designing home products on a quarterly launch timeline.
• Highly detail-oriented, excellent time management skills, and highly collaborative.
• Ability to inspire cross functional partners by presenting thoughtful concepts inspired by market trends.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware from concept to launch.
• Create 3D models and renderings for presentations and specs.
• Develop technical specifications and vendor feedback for development.
• Collaborate with global offices and domestic partners to meet target price and manufacturability.
• Present product and concept ideas to design and cross-functional leadership.
