Job summary

Founders First Community Development Corporation (FFCDC) seeks an experienced, hands-on fundraising professional to cultivate and secure gifts, grants and sponsorships to expand small-business grants, training and regional programs. This is a fundraising production role with meaningful development operations and administrative responsibilities—not a coordinator role or people-management position.

Full-time hybrid position based in San Diego with in-office Tuesday–Thursday; base salary

Qualifications

• 4+ years nonprofit fundraising with demonstrated results.
• Proven success securing gifts, grants or sponsorships in the $5,000–$25,000 range.
• Strong donor communications and proposal writing.
• Experience managing donor portfolios and renewal processes.

Responsibilities

• Donor Acquisition & Revenue Development: build and manage a pipeline of individual donors and foundations; lead research, outreach, asks and closures.
• Grants, Sponsorships & Events: identify, pitch and close sponsorships; prepare proposals and manage calendars; coordinate sponsor benefits.
• Stewardship & Development Operations: maintain donor records in Bloomerang; produce monthly pipeline and revenue reports; timely acknowledgments.
