Founders First Community Development Corporation (FFCDC) is seeking an experienced, hands-on fundraising professional in the San Diego area. The role focuses on cultivating and securing gifts, grants and sponsorships to expand small-business grants and regional programs, with a strong emphasis on donor relations and regional impact.

The position is full-time with a hybrid work arrangement (in-office Tue–Thu) and a base salary of $70,000–$75,000, plus a performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of nonprofit development or fundraising experience.
• Demonstrated success securing gifts, grants or sponsorships (usually $5,000–$25,000).
• Strong donor communications and relationship-building with diverse funders.
• Experience with a donor CRM, pipeline reporting and collaboration tools.
• San Diego-area presence and in-office Tue–Thu.

Responsabilités

• Build and manage a qualified donor pipeline including individuals, foundations, and sponsors.
• Lead solicitations, propose funding requests and secure commitments.
• Develop annual prospecting plans and weekly outreach targets.
• Oversee grants, sponsorships and event-related fundraising activities.
• Maintain donor records and regular reporting in the CRM and with finance/program teams.
