Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a seasoned regulatory attorney to support fund clients by drafting and filing SEC registrations, proxy statements, and related regulatory materials.

You will work with internal counsel and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and evolving regulatory requirements. The role offers a hybrid schedule with 3+ days in-office and opportunities to lead complex projects, manage teams, and advise on governance and regulatory strategy.

Qualifications

• Law degree and licensed to practice in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Eight or more years of related experience.
• Knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and related regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and prepare fund registration statements and filings with the SEC.
• Prepare agendas, resolutions, and related materials for investment company board meetings.
• Communicate with the SEC and other regulatory bodies on behalf of fund clients.
• Provide regulatory guidance to internal business lines on industry developments and regulations
