Job summary

LaSalle Network seeks an experienced Fund Manager to oversee fund accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of investment funds. You will serve as the primary client contact ensuring accurate reporting and timely deliverables.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in fund accounting within private equity, venture capital, or fund services, with strong technical accounting skills and the ability to manage multiple engagements while delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of fund accounting experience total.
• Experience in private equity, venture capital, or fund administration environments.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience preparing or reviewing financial statements and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with investment fund structures and investor allocations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, monthly and quarterly reporting, and year-end financial statements.
• Review financial statements, investor allocations, capital account statements, and supporting schedules for accuracy.
• Oversee capital calls, distributions, investor contributions, and allocation of income, expenses, and gains or losses.
• Coordinate annual audits and work with external auditors for timely completion.
• Ensure fund accounting records and reporting comply with standards and governing documents.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned clients and manage deliverables and deadlines.
• Mentor fund accountants and collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues.
