Job summary

A legal services firm in Chicago is seeking an experienced Fund Formation paralegal to provide comprehensive support for venture fund work, including the preparation of organizational documents and compliance reporting. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree and ideally a Paralegal Certificate, with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. This role offers competitive compensation between $93,600 and $176,800 annually, plus overtime and a robust benefits package including PTO, health coverage, and more. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Fund Formation experience.
• Available to work overtime, as required.
• Bill a minimum of 1600 hours annually.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and maintenance of organizational documents.
• Conduct due diligence review of documents associated with fund formation.
• Handle SEC compliance reporting for venture fund clients.
