Job summary

City National Bank seeks an Industry Closing Manager for Fund Finance to oversee due diligence, closing and documentation for complex Commercial Lending. You will coordinate with outside counsel and client teams to move financings toward successful funding and closing.

You will lead Loan Closing Specialists, review credit approvals and legal docs, and ensure proper reflection of terms and conditions while upholding bank controls and onboarding experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years experience in Fund Finance.
• Previous Management experience is preferred.
• Previous closing experience or paralegal/law firm background is preferred.
• Client facing presence and experience.
• Understanding of bank policies and closing conditions, documents and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate closing process for complex commercial lending transactions.
• Guide Loan Closing Specialists and prioritize workflow.
• Review closing checklists, credit approvals and documents.
• Communicate timelines and status with client team and internal partners.
• Engage outside counsel when required and determine appropriate documentation.
• Issue Clear to Close once all conditions are satisfied.
