Job summary

Marquette Bank is seeking a Funding and Post Closing Manager Officer to lead a team responsible for funding commercial and consumer loans and guiding the residential loan process from closing through funding and investor delivery.

You will ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely execution of all fundings and post-closing activities while supervising staff and collaborating with Operations to clear deficiencies and meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or certification in Business Finance or Real Estate Lending.
• 7-10 years' experience with residential real estate loans.
• Officer/AVP level position with prior management experience required.
• Experienced user of Encompass platform.
• Working knowledge of bank operations, systems, and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Team-oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Good customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Validate funding desk requests meet bank requirements before facilitating all loan disbursements and wires.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly general ledger balancing over multiple accounts.
• Compile monthly reports for management.
• Manage the flow of residential loans from closing, funding, delivery to investors, and booking/sale.
• Monitor loans to meet funding and lock expiration dates; coordinate with title companies and investors.
• Oversee staff performance and review work quality.
• Ensure compliance with BSA, HMDA, CRA and internal policies.
