Job summary

Apex Group is seeking an experienced Fund Accountant / Client Relationship Lead to join our funds administration team in Canada. You will manage client relationships, oversee NAV preparation, review accounting entries and financial statements, and support investor communications.

Five to eight years’ experience in fund accounting and leadership, plus strong Excel and Paxus/Geneva skills, are required. This on-site role requires four days in office.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience in fund accounting or related area.
• Strong understanding of fund structures and accounting processes.
• Proven client service orientation and relationship management.
• Leadership experience supervising other professionals.
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to automate processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent client service to fund administration clients.
• Lead client relationship management for fund clients.
• Prepare and review accounting entries, monthly closes, support schedules, invoices.
• Execute NAV preparation and review process.
• Review and support production of Financial Statements.
• Assist in investor communications for clients.
• Develop and expand client relationships and optimize service offerings.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure timely deliverables.
