Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team supporting client fund audits and establish repeatable audit readiness and reporting practices.

You will partner with Fund Accounting, Fund Administration, Project and Risk Management, and Derivatives to deliver accurate, standardized audit support on time. You will own the end-to-end audit readiness framework, improve reporting quality, and minimize audit cycle times while guiding senior stakeholders and audit teams through complex questions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• Seven+ years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration or fund audit.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex issues to senior management.
• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of internal controls and audit evidence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team supporting client fund audits, setting priorities and coordinating resources.
• Plan and execute semiannual and annual registered fund audits with milestones and ownership.
• Design and oversee pre-audit checks and month-end reconciliations to ensure readiness.
• Provide leadership on financial statements, audit support schedules and top-side adjustments.
• Coordinate with auditors, resolve issues, and communicate milestones and risks to senior management.
