Job summary

FIS is seeking a Representative Sr. Lead, Fund Administration to oversee complex private equity fund accounting, reporting, and investor allocations.

You will lead year-end audits, advise clients and auditors, and drive process improvements while collaborating with internal teams across the fund lifecycle. This role offers significant exposure to private equity fund structures, governance, and regulatory requirements, with opportunities to impact efficiency and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of private equity fund accounting or related experience.
• Expertise in private equity fund structures, allocations, carry, and waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with year-end financial statements, audits, and reporting under U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Proficiency with fund accounting platforms (Investran, Geneva) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting and administration of complex private equity, closed-end, and alternative investment fund structures.
• Review and approve fund-level financial reporting packages, investor capital statements, and audited financial statements.
• Lead year-end reporting and audit processes, serving as the primary liaison for auditors, clients, and other external stakeholders.
• Perform and review carried interest, waterfall allocation, management fee, capital call, and distribution calculations.
• Provide leadership, technical guidance, and client relationship management while supporting onboarding, process improvements, and system enhancements.
