Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Fund Accounting Senior Operations Associate/Accountant to join its fund accounting team.

You will work across hedge funds, private equity funds and closed-end products, calculating NAVs, waterfalls and fees, while ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate investor reporting. Based in the U.S., you will support multiple relationships, enter and reconcile investor activity, and prepare financial statements and schedules for audits and tax.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Five or more years of related experience in portfolio/partnership accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Calculate net asset value, waterfalls and management fees.
• Record trade information, income/expense activity and securities valuation.
• Enter and reconcile investor contributions/withdrawals.
• Prepare fund financial statements, audits and tax schedules.
• Coordinate expense analysis and processing.
