Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Fund Accounting Senior Operations Associate to support hedge funds, private equity funds and related products. You will calculate NAVs, waterfalls and fees, and serve as primary fund accountant across multiple relationships.

The role requires GAAP knowledge, strong analytical skills and the ability to prepare financial statements, audits and tax schedules for investors. Office-based with regular site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a business-related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Five or more years of related experience, preferably in portfolio/partnership accounting, finance or portfolio management.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting processes.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Calculate net asset value, waterfalls and management fees for funds.
• Record trades, reconcile investor contributions and withdrawals, and apply valuation.
• Prepare fund financial statements, audits and tax schedules.
