Job summary

Ultimus Leverpoint seeks an experienced accounting supervisor to lead the preparation of quarterly LP financial statements and supporting schedules. You will manage capital call notices, waterfall calculations, and regulatory filings, while guiding a team and coordinating with General Partners and auditors.

Strong background in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and client communication is required; CPA or MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of supervisory experience in accounting or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• MBA or MSA in Accounting strongly preferred.
• CPA license strongly preferred.
• Experience in forecasting and budgeting during growth periods.
• Proficient with MS Office; knowledge of Investran or similar software a plus.
• Ability to multitask, manage time, and communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and distribution of quarterly financial statements to Limited Partners.
• Oversee schedules supporting general ledger balances in financial statements.
• Calculate, prepare, and distribute capital call notices to LPs.
• Understand and interpret terms in the Limited Partnership Agreement.
• Calculate and review complex waterfall structures.
• Complete required regulatory forms to ensure compliance.
• Distribute proceeds to Limited Partners; verify capital returns.
• Interact with General Partners and respond to information requests.
• Review investment packages to ensure correct securities and amounts.
• Calculate management fees owed to the Management Company.
• Collaborate with auditors and provide reports/support during audits.
• Conduct ongoing team trainings and provide leadership.
