Job summary

Landing Point is seeking a finance professional to join its Finance and Operations team in New York. The role focuses on fund accounting and operations within a diverse real estate portfolio, with US GAAP and IFRS Investment Company Accounting considerations.

You will interact with external audit and tax teams from Big 4, compile and analyze financial data, prepare investor reports, capital calls, and distributions, and support regulatory filings and banking relationships.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Private Equity experience, preferably with a CPA
• Fund administration, accounting, or audit experience preferred; private fund Real Estate experience a plus
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Investran is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage, review, and participate in fund operations and reporting processes
• Review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS Investment Company Accounting
• Interact with external audit and tax reporting processes with Big 4 firms
• Compile, analyze, and prepare the funds' financial data and operating metrics
• Administer and ensure compliance for credit facility loans
• Coordinate with banks for foreign currency exchange and derivative transactions
• Coordinate with the fund administrator for accounting and reporting matters
• Review investor reports, capital calls, and distribution notices
• Maintain investor commitments and capital account statements
• Support the marketing team with data collection and ad-hoc requests
• Assist and coordinate with other departments for fund operations and reporting requirements
• Review the management fee and the waterfall
• Provide financial information for compliance and regulatory filings
