Job summary

Leverage Companies in Newark, NJ is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to oversee the debt fund's accounting and reporting. You will ensure accurate transactions, timely investor reports, and fund compliance while building scalable processes.

You will lead the Fund Accountant, manage close processes, and review allocations, distributions, and capital calls in line with the fund agreement, leveraging QuickBooks and Ramp for efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience; private lending/real estate/private equity preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and multi-entity accounting structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Fund Accountant as the team grows.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial statements.
• Manage investor capital calls, fees and waterfall computations per fund agreement.
