Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant in New York City to manage quarterly closes, NAV reviews, and capital allocations for private equity funds. You will coordinate with fund administrators, track distributions, and support audits while optimizing reporting workflows.

Ideal candidates have 4–7 years in private equity fund accounting, advanced Excel, and hands-on experience with NAV processes; CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years in private equity fund accounting or related audit experience.
• Strong understanding of private equity fund structures and operations.
• Experience with NAV reviews, capital calls, distributions, and waterfalls.
• Advanced Excel skills; Investran experience a plus.
• CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quarterly closes with fund administrator and review NAV packages.
• Review capital calls, distributions, management fees, and waterfalls.
• Review investor capital statements prior to distribution.
• Support valuation processes and prepare valuation materials.
• Serve as main contact for annual audits and coordinate with auditors.
• Support tax compliance activities including K-1 review and extensions.
• Assist LPs with due diligence requests and investor reporting.
• Manage cash activity and bank reconciliations.
• Drive process improvements and reporting enhancements using fund accounting tech.
