Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst - II to join our federal-focused team as a remote-based professional. The role covers requirements capture for software development, ALM tooling, and SAFe-based agile delivery under a Veterans Affairs setting.

Candidates should have a strong software development background, SAFe expertise, and experience with JIRA and ALM tools. A Master’s degree and US citizenship with potential for Public Trust (MBI) clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 10 years of professional experience in software development or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams.
• Document requirements in an ALM tool and manage them.
• Perform Agile requirement management for a product team.
• Develop business process models and formal specifications.
• Conduct backlog refinement and write acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with Systems Engineers to assess impact to solutions.
