General Motors Ventures is seeking a seasoned Fullstack Engineer focused on frontend for our Mapping Engineering team. You will build web-based tools that empower engineers and operators to visualize geospatial map data, QA workflows, and real-time updates across distributed mapping systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production frontend apps with strong React/TS.
• BS/MS in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering user-facing products in data-heavy domains.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement frontend systems for mapping apps across platforms.
• Design data-rich interfaces to visualize geospatial data and QA workflows.
• Collaborate with backend, ML, localization, and simulation teams.
• Lead frontend lifecycle, set milestones, and mentor engineers.
• Advocate UI/UX standards, testing, and documentation.
• Optimize rendering performance for large map data and real-time updates.
• Serve as SME in frontend architecture and visualization frameworks.
• Contribute to roadmap planning and frontend hiring strategies.
