Job summary

GoGuardian is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack to design and implement robust architectural solutions for our New Products Team. You’ll build features across the stack—from React frontends to scalable Node/Go backends—supporting safety and learning in K-12 environments.

You’ll work on real-time data APIs, analytics workloads, and infrastructure as code, collaborating with engineers to deliver high-quality, maintainable software at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in building large-scale features
• Strong Node/Go backend & React with TypeScript
• Experience with gRPC/REST APIs and microservices
• Proficient in SQL databases and analytics workloads
• Familiar with caching and cloud services (AWS)
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and IaC (Terraform)
• Mentor and coach developers; strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve new products
• Develop high-performance backend services in Node/Go
• Build frontend in React with strong UX
• Implement gRPC and REST APIs for real-time data
• Optimize SQL schemas and queries for analytics
• Create background workers for data processing
• Integrate with AI services for features like reporting
• Contribute to Terraform-based infrastructure
• Mentor teammates and participate in code reviews
